Virtual Looks: Southern Interior Designer

Happy Monday Friends!
Today's looks are for a gorgeous interior designer in North Carolina Ms. T
She spends a lot of her days on construction sites so heels and dresses aren't the most practical option.
But she still needs to look professional, thank goodness being creative industry she has more liberty with her dress code.
Ms. T  is a pear, but these looks will also work for straight body types.

Black and White

Girls I am digging the leather trend! I am also pretty traditional and girly in my style so I love this faux leather circle skirt. It will work on every body type too!
Plus as you know I just got back from Fashion Week in NY, and leather is still hold strong for Fall/Winter 2013!

One of the biggest Spring trends is Black and White.
I love doing it with a pop of color, cause that is how I roll ;)
I'd probably add black opaque tights too.

Shoe Lesson

I found this great image on Pinterest and thought it was a must share.
There are so many shoe styles out there... What a great cheat sheet.
I highly recommend pinning it yourself for reference.

Well guess what it just got even better! The amazing company Kate Spade is launching a lower price point line, called Saturday. If you love the Kate Spade brand as much as this lady,

Virtual Looks: Super Sass Mom

These two super-sized looks are for a Ms. S, who I am lucky enough to call a friend.
She has three boys (and a daughter) , and everyone knows that any mom of three boys has to have a LOT of energy AND  be a saint!
I have three good friends with three boys and they are all very special ladies.
I don't know how they do it.
Ms. S is a nursing student, she works, and attends many school functions.
She likes to look fashionable and pulled together but doesn't need high maintenance fabrics.
My favorite piece is that bow sweater, what is yours?

Today is my last day at Fashion Week! I am torn cause I have been here for seven days and am pretty worn out and I miss my family. But it is always sad leaving New York, and this ultra fashionable lifestyle.... I have my finger on the pulse of Fall 2013 fashion. Which will be passed along to you my lovely friends that check in here, and my local clients.

Have a lovely Tuesday, see you back here tomorrow.

Virtual Looks: Couple Style

Happy Monday from NYC!
I have two more days in the city then I am headed back to real life.
I mean how much glamour and fashion can one person take anyway???
I am really excited to share all I have seen and done with you all.

These two outfits were done for a couple attending an event together. It is a pretty casual event.
One of my stylist secrets, I always error on the side of too dressy!
This couple has recently lost quite a bit of weight and they are eager to show off their new physique!
I used another wrap dress, in case you haven't noticed, a wrap dress is a wardrobe staple that works on everybody type!

Did you see my 10 evening essentials article in Redbook Magazine? Check it out here.

Have a stylish day, see you back here tomorrow!

Virtual Looks: Wedding Guest

Today's look is for Ms. A she lives in the lovely Palm Springs and is headed to a wedding.
She doesn't shop a lot so I wanted to select pieces that she could really use again and again.
The classic wrap dress flatters every figure, and it is a timeless staple.
I love this wedge because it is patent and actually looks more like a pump.
Which makes dressier then the typical wedge! The nude color is also versatile elongates the leg.
Then to keep her looking ultra hip I selected an inexpensive envelope clutch, as these are all the rage! And because it is from Target is easy on the pocketbook, no sense spending a lot on trends.

Virtual Looks: Business Casual

Hey sweet ladies!! I am here in NYC, up to my eyeballs in fashion and blogging.
What an amazing industry I am blessed enough to work in, such lovely talented people I get to call friends and colleagues. After IFBCON where I was spoiled by,
I headed to a Style for Hire event at Rebecca Taylor
We partnered with Citibank and were able to assist many of their brave employees in selecting some amazing new pieces to add to their wardrobes.

Speaking of wardrobes... these two looks are great for a business casual work environment.
They are ideal for a straight, or pear figure.
They are for a virtual client, Ms. E  she prefers a neutral wardrobe with pops of color in accessories.

I am headed to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week!

I couldn't be any more excited....
Today I am once again traveling to one of my favorite cities.
I will be attending IFBCON and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week...
I am taking you along, so stay tuned if you want a sneak peek of all the excitement that Fashion Week promises.

She is going to look dreamy at both events, isn't she!?
I can't wait to see her photos.

These two looks work for all body types, so anyone that loves these looks can either wear these exact outfits OR replicate them with pieces in your closet!
