Really we are ONLY on our third trouser denim look?? I have to get with the blog program don't I?
For today I added color as there is nothing that quite does it like a bold pop of color!
I will try and finish the trousers out on this my 40th Birthday week...
Only two more days and I am no longer in my 30's.
No parties this week as my work schedule didn't allow any celebrations until November.
But ladies I am SO excited for my (2nd) little 40th birthday shin dig!! My 5 college BFFs, are flying in and my 7 local BFF will be joining in on the fun. I have a very special night planned to celebrate our friendship and shower them with my love and gratitude for putting up with me!!
I have lots of "sussys" in store, and I will be sure to share with you all, so you can be inspired for your own birthday celebrations. But you'll have to wait until after the hoopla.
Hi SYL readers!!! I'm Ashley Stinson, a Southern California mama of two littles, and I have been a Jennifer/SYL fan for years!!!
I am beyond excited to be over here with you guys today to introduce you to a company dear to my heart called Noonday Collection. Noonday Collection features gorgeous and unique accessories, each handmade by an artisan from the most vulnerable communities around the globe. Offered a fair trade wage for their amazing talent and skill, the dignified jobs offered to these beautiful women through Noonday are creating pathways out of poverty for artisans that have experienced great hardship.
I became an Ambassador for Noonday this year to raise funding for the adoption of our son or daughter from Ethiopia. Noonday has a big heart for adoption--the founder, Jessica, started Noonday as a way to fundraise for the adoption of her own son from Rwanda. What started as something small, just Jessica, has grown to include 90 Ambassadors just like me, advocating for our artisans, telling their stories, and styling women with accessories that are changing lives.
The collection features jewelry, scarves, bags, and even home goods and gifts from Ethiopia, Uganda, India, Peru, Guatemala, Madagascar, Ecuador, South Africa, and even refugee groups here in the US.
I hope you'll head over and browse the online catalog... so many beautiful pieces not only for you, but for all of the ladies on your Christmas list this year.
Pencil skirts are a classic essential piece, they give apples and straight figures curves and they show off the curves of the pears and hourglasses. They are the definition of feminine! Add a Peplum and vavavoom! If you don't yet have a pencil skirt black is the safest bet. But since colored bottoms are all the rage this season. I choose Yellow! If you live in a cool climate add a cardigan or blazer.
