Stuart Weitzman happened to design a Fabulous pair... so fabulous that many others have also "interpreted it" now it is available at every price point and it is gorgeous!
I highly recommend getting these shoes at the price point that is right for you!

After reading your post today...I drove my little self to Old Navy and bought me a pair; in black. They are fabulous, I love them and oh yea, I got a pair of awesome flared jeans to go with em. :)
